The programme is working in nine places across the UK to develop, test and implement innovative approaches to managing parks and green spaces. Launched in June 2019. This is the first programme of its kind in the UK and is designed to help local authorities and their partners find sustainable solutions across entire towns, cities and counties.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Our county is one of nine projects working together as part of Future Parks Accelerator, to develop tools, approaches, skills and finance for managing green space. We will also be sharing our experience and learning with other councils and green space managers, to support the public parks sector across the UK.
